Three figures appear in the painting: in the center, a young woman with a black mantilla looking at the viewer, to the right appears another woman with flowers on her head, holding a fan and looking at the young woman. Finally, an old woman with her head covered following the Celestina tradition and who can act as the procuress for the young woman.

Painting by Díaz Domínguez presented at the Zaragoza Museum at the opening of the exhibition ‘Zuloaga y los artistas aragoneses’ ('Zuloaga and the Aragonese artists') in tribute to Goya, on May 13, 1916. Now part of the Laborda/Lázaro Collection.
