Title
Two women at the window, by Bellotti (1700, c.)
Creator
Bellotti, Pietro (attributed to) (1627–1700)
Date
1700, c.
Description
Original title: Due donne alla finestra ("Two women at the window").
In the image there are two women at a window, a younger and an older one. The painting is probably inspired by the painting Two Women at a Window, by Murillo (1660, c.) even though in this painting the older woman is older than in Murillo's, there is a vase and their face gestures are different. It is not clear if it is a scene of window prostitution.
