No quieren, de Goya (1810 c.)

They do not want to, by Goya (1810, c.)

Goya y Lucientes, Francisco de (1746-1828)

1810, c.

Another engraving by Goya based on the social effects of the war between France and Spain. An interpretation of the Prado Museum names the characters as a young prostitute, a lascivious man, and a celestinesque old woman. This is an interpretation of an old procuress that is different from traditional representations of the character.
