Amaranta Saguar: "Exhibition Following Celestina: Type, myth, woman, which can be visited in the temporary exhibition hall of the La Celestina Museum in La Puebla de Montalbán from June 29 to September 29, 2024. It is a review of the iconographic and visual history of Celestina, from its roots in Antiquity to the present. Using illustrative, pictorial, scenographic and audiovisual materials, it reveals how Celestina freed herself from the topical representation of elderly female characters and became a chameleon capable of reflecting and adapting. to and connect with the concerns of each moment and public. And this despite the added obstacles of being an older, marginal and, probably, queer woman. The inauguration will take place on Saturday, June 29 at 8:00 p.m. at the Museum La Celestina and everyone is cordially invited."
