A drawing of Celestina approaching a house, likely Melibea's, with the enchanted thread in hand to sell. The image proceeds from the illustration in Act III of the Burgos, 1499, edition, but, curiously, Celestina's face has been altered. The ochre tints in the background add a rusty dark color that make the edition seem aged.
