Description

Melibea speaks with Pleberio while Alisa listens. It is unclear if the image is in an interior or exterior. Melibea's image is a variation of what has been used in Acts I, X and XII. Alisa's image is almost identical to the one used in Acts IV and X but without the rosary. The floor is almost identical to the one used in Act XIII, very similar to the one used in Acts III, VII, VIII, X and XII.

This illustration is mentioned in Miguel Marciales' critical edition: Celestina Tragicomedia de Calisto y Melibea, vol. I, pag. xxii, it was used in the Romance de Durandarte, by Alonso de Melgar, son-in-law of Fadrique de Basilea, in 1520 c., in Prague. It comes from a loose sheet from the University Library of the University of Prague.
