Description
A scene in the Hermitage of the Virgin of the Port. In the lower left corner of the table, there is a group of people acting similarly as characters in La Celestina. A soldier dressed in red, with a young girl who seems to be flirting, while an old woman with a calculating expression watches the interaction. The party atmosphere, with alcohol taken into account with the expression of the old woman indicates that she is a procuress, and the young girl is her apprentice.
